Meet Tiki. I am a male owner and have always preferred dogs to cats. I was talking to a friend and he mentioned the Bengal breed. I did a bit of research here and on other boards and made the plunge. She is 14 weeks. She quickly learned how to sit. She cries alot but she's getting better. Anyone else with a Bengal?

Wow, look at those GORGEOUS eyes.

Bengals were one of the cat breeds my sister looked into and was considering.

Welcome to the forums, I am sure you'll like it here!

Glad you liked the photos. I have noticed that many have posted their pictures in their avatars. Here is my contribution. Did I mention that she likes high places? Next on the list is to learn how to post an avatar. *grin*

BTW What is the imbedding etiquette here? Is it considered bad form to post over a certain amount of pictures in a thread without a warning?

n.c.

Well, we do have a thread for pics of our cats here:
http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/sho...=&threadid=501
But I don't think too many people mind seeing pics in other threads. It may get a bit hard on people with slower modems.

To have a custom avatar, you have to get up to 100 posts. You can choose from some general avatars right now, though, just click the button that says "User CP" at the top, and select user options, and down toward the bottom is a place to change your avatar.

You take such beautiful photographs! Are you a professional?

another great photo
what is your profession, if i may ask,
photographer? or just a hobby? your photographs are amazing.

it's definitley not considered rude or bad form, as long as the
images arent huge (because they will take some people awhile to load)

we are all pretty much image crazy around here

Oh, I forgot to ask, is Tiki your first cat? I should assume she is since you said you prefer dogs! Cats do some very amazing things. It is so awesome when you see them do something for the very first time.

Welcome to the forums. My boyfriend has 2 beautiful Bengals. They are about 9 months now. We just bought leashes and harnesses for them, and have started taking them on walks outside. It is the cutest thing ever.

If you ever have questions feel free to ask it hear. You will find this place to be a wealth of knoweledge!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I hope to learn much about my new kitten. This will be my first one so I have lots to learn! I am not a professional photographer. I do enjoy playing around with my digital camera and photoshop. Here is my first attempt at cat humor. Sometimes she needs to be reminded that she is not a dog.

She is absolutely beautiful. Those eyes are amazing. Your photos are great too. Are you in to photography? I have a friend who used to do pet photography on the side. She loved it and you would be surprised at the customers she had. Welcome to the club.

I am completely in awe. You have such a talent in photography!

My sister is just in love with Tiki. She adores bengal cats.

Welcome to The Cat Site! Your feline buddy is adorable; and you do superb justice to her via your creative photography. Great pix!

I, too, would love to keep a dog. But as I live in a small dwelling and already keep cats, it wouldn't be fair to keep a dog. Plus, my cash-flow situation wouldn't allow such a constant expenditure. I'd want a large dog, as (here goes) I'm not "into" those yapping little ankle-biters.
