What the heck?

Was downstairs making something to eat and my cat was flipping out about something,started to jump up and down,ran up the stairs and saw some clear fluid coming from her mouth, like a drop or 2,then 30 sec latr she was ok,i dont know if she had something in her mouth or not,any1 else hear of this?

Caught a bug, maybe?

Yes, I chalk it up to their invisible playmates....not joking...my cats will do just that....as if a ghost just jumped in front of them. If they are young cats...it's hard to say what's going through their minds. My older cat doesn't do that...she's 'over' that!

I'm sure it's nothing..but keep an eye on her to see if it happens regularily. It's a matter of observing their behaviour.....what's normal for one cat isn't necessarily normal for another. She just might have an overactive imagination, or got spooked by a shadow or spider or fly....

Just found a rubber band on the floor,think thats what it was.

Maybe your cat thought it was a snake....or snapped herself in the mouth with it....perhaps that's why you saw some saliva dripping out a bit. Glad to hear that it turned out to be nothing....
