Oliver Stone's new bio-pic: W

So, it's coming out this fall, Oliver Stone is directing, and it's already controversial.

Here's the deal, I have to see it because it's Oliver Stone, and I've seen every movie the man has made. I love them, and he's a genius behind the lens. I'm also not all that shocked about his timing of release, seeing as that it's right before the election. I'm also very exited that Josh Brolin is in it. He was fantastic, and darn near perfect in No Country for Old Men.

Here are my questions:
1. Will you see it?
2. Do you think it deserves the controversy?
3. Are you an Oliver Stone fan?

If you have the ability, here's the trailer.

I won't see it, because I find Oliver Stone only slightly more entertaining than Michael Moore, and I'd rather watch paint dry than watch either one of them.

Well...maybe when he does "Bill," I'll watch it...no, I wont.

1. Will I see it? NO! 2.Does it deserve the controversy? Probably. Am I a Oliver Stone fan? NO!

I probably won't see it either, but with me it has nothing to do with who made it or what it's about. I just don't care for political films in general. They make me feel like I'm paying someone else for their opinion when I'm perfectly capable of forming my own

I'll most probably see it

I didn't know it was coming out, so I haven't heard about the controversy - what's the gist of it?

I've seen a couple of Oliver Stone's movies, and they're interesting. I don't go out of my way to watch his movies, but I don't avoid them either.

unless i'm mistaken [happens!] the only Stone film i've seen is the one about the Kennedy assassination...

I like Oliver Stone, but I probably won't go out of my way to watch the movie.

I tried the trailer, but it's not viewable to those of us in Canada.

Anyway, the reason I probably won't watch it is because it's about George Bush, and IMHO the guy is a war mongering twit and the world would be much better off without his gene pool in it.

I'm sure this movie will be totally objective and unbiased.

Hasn't Hollyweird and the elitist left raked this guy thru the coals enough the last eight years?? Give it a rest already.

1) Yes I will. Probably wait for DVD though.

2) don't really care either way. If people get their panties in a bunch over it, then they got too much time on their hands.

3) Yes I have liked most of them. Not all, but most.

I probably won't watch it. I am so tired of Bush. I have had enough for a lifetime and want him to go away and never come back after January. Buh-bye and see you hopefully never.

I don't get the controversy. Oliver Stone is known to take liberal dramatic license with material so maybe that is the controversy?

I am not a big fan. I liked Platoon but his other movies seem overinflated for my taste. I am wary of 'historical' films that tackle BIG subjects.
But I did like Josh Brolin in No Country for Old Men too.
