Copy of an email I received today. I verified through the email that this is for real and current.
Meet Tobby, a feline that walks on a leash!
This very good 2 years young beautiful tabby boy was abandoned in his
harness and leash, tied to the wall in the lobby of the city shelter.

Clearly, Tobby is better off without that careless owner, but due to
overcrowding, this great cat has found himself in the euthanasia list
and must find a safe and caring foster or forever
home by MONDAY!!

He was rated a mild guy by our vet staff ...the highest rating a cat can
get!

I would foster him in a second!! I live in Nebraska and NY is far from me. Darn, I don't want to see him euthanized. Tabby boys have a very special place in my heart... This is so heartbreaking.
