Hey everyone,

I need some advice - I last heard from my breeder in the beginning of July and now it will be almost 2 months since I last heard from her. I am really, really disappointed. I have sent her a couple of emails (1 in July and 1 in August - being very polite and just asking how she was). She did tell me she was moving in late June and wouldn't really be back til about mid July and she'd update me on her contact info once she received it but unfortunately I have heard nothing from her at all. I tried to call her old home number to see if it would redirect me to her new one but it did not. Also, she hasn't updated her webpage in awhile either. I feel so confused - I mean I would feel better knowing she didn't want to adopt a kitten to me other then me sitting her thinking what happened? Or even if she was super busy just a quick message to tell me she is really busy but hasn't forgot me.

What should I do? She seems really nice and really informative so I am trusting her in the fact that she must be really busy BUT would this sound alarms in your head?

(((ugh)))

I was worried about my kitten because I had not heard from my breeder in 2 weeks. I had sent a few emails to her. Yesterday she wrote back and said she has been very busy at work and everything is ok. I sure hope you here from your breeder. Two months is a long time not to here anything. it sems strange there isnt a new number to call. Where is her cattery at? I know its hard moving because we just moved almost 3 weeks ago but she should have left another number.

Do you have another breeder that you might want to work with? If so, contact them. If it works with another breeder and the first one contacts you - tell them that you were patient for 2 months, could not get ahold of her by email or phone being disconnected and that you have found another breeder to work with.

Maybe that will be a wake up call for this breeder. That's not right to have no contact and to update you with a new number to contact after 2 months.

Hope you didn't give her a deposit. Maybe check her out with some of the other breeders around - they may have some information about that specific breeder and what is happening with her cattery, etc.
