This is my dad and step-mom's 10-year-old cat, Roo.

I *think* he is a tabby with white, but I am confused because the colored parts of his fur are both grey and orange (both colors with tabby markings).

Here are some pics, what do you think?

And just for fun, a picture showing how playful a 10-year-old can be

Brown mackeral tabby and white. Browns have shading from light brown to black brown. Its not a red color like a red mack tabby.

i'd agree. to me, the lighter patches just look like a lighter brown, not a true orange.
my Firefox is a patched tabby, aka torbie. she has light brown & orange mixed in her fur, plus the tabby stripes.

I would agree, Brown Tabby and White coloring. I think the range of Tabby markings and colors are amazing.
Maia is a silver tabby......
