I'm at a loss for names!

I can't have names/themes that the shelter has already had....so I'm kinda up a creek.

2 grey/lilac point type siamese looking males
1 tabby (either black & brown or grey?
) male
1 black female

They all need to have names of the same theme, or else that start with the same letter.

We had the D litter - Dennis, Dante, Dumpling, D'Artagnan, and Dora...(well, and also Smudge, Bear and Gretel. LOL)

No kittens can have names starting with the letter "D". They die horribly deaths. 2 & 3 years ago - it was distemper. Last year, it was some nasty virus. 4 years ago, I thankfully missed those deaths. 5 years running, every litter named with the letter "D" has died - so the rule is no "D" kittens. Yes, we're a bit superstitious.

since they're part Siamese, maybe you could go with Buddhist-related names
my reasoning: Siam is now Thailand which is a largley Buddhist nation

Like,
Buddha

Karma
Dharma
Sangha
Nirvana
Bodhi
Zen
Tantra
Dalai (as in Dalai Lama)

here's a link to the wiki article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddhist

yes, I do like the religion-themed names

They are adorable!

For my fosters, I use themes, too. My first one was a movie- Pirates of the Carribbean. Do you have a favorite movie?

Before they just ended up with Pirates names, they were going to be National Parks. My currents are cities in Nevada. I like place names!

Since their mom is Eden, which is a paradise, you could use "paradise on earth" themes.

Three males and a female...

Caribbean
Jamaica
Tahiti
Hawaii

?? Just thoughts.

My favorite movie would be Finding Nemo.
I already have a "dory" (Dorian Grey a.k.a. Dorky Fish)

I need it to be something "neutral" ish....I'm afraid if I stick with the Eden theme or even the Buddhist theme it'll be too religious & offend potential adopters?

Religious may or may not... That's why I like places! Pretty neutral...

And hey, I thought "Dorky" was Dorian Grey! He's not from finding Nemo...

How about:

Marlin
Nemo
Crush
Coral

Of course, then you couldn't use them for your next fosters...

What ever you decide will be perfect!!

Hmmm... I'm no good at coming up with themes! I am very partial to the Adam & Eden theme
, but if that won't work, maybe E names? That would go along with Eden, and then you could still use Eve for the little girl.

I honestly don't think this will be a problem cause most average folks wouldn't know that Zen or Dharma or Karma came from Buddhism. My thought is that people like unusual names, it will get the kittens noticed, if for anything their names and then when people see how cute they are, it's a wrap
I get compliments all the time on my kitties' names, most don't care where they came from, just that they're unusual

What about Disney Princesses/Princes? lol.

Phillip
Shang
Eric
Aladdin
Beast
etc...

Aurora
Mulan
Ariel
Jasmine
Belle
etc...

Snow White and Cinderella princes are just The Prince and Prince Charming and both those are kinda a mouthful for a kitten, hah.

Or a royalty theme

How about characters from a TV show, like Buffy the Vampire Slayer? That was my addiction earlier this summer and I ended giving several litters of kittens and one big kitty (Xander) Buffy names - ie Willow, Dawn, Riley, Spike, Faith, Tara, Cordelia, Caleb, Wesley and Buffy, of course. One woman recognized the theme and adopted Buffy, Faith and Wesley. It was the rescue's first triple adoption in years!

I love the name Mia...for the female, of course.
I'm out of names for the boys, though.
