The vet said that there were supposed to be 2, but yesterday she went into labor and just had the one. I don't know if there are going to be more. I have been feeling her belly for more, but I am not really sure what to look for. She also doesn't mind when I prod at her belly like she did when she was pregnant with this little one.
Here are some pics!

hmm...well maybe the vet miscounted?
The vet said my cat has two in there, she is due any day now and she isnt that big.
Very cute though!

Aww he's cute - little blue baby. Sometimes if they are across you might be fooled into thinking its two instead of one.

Yes, she was pretty large, I think, though it also seems to me that her kit is a little big, too. I don't have any good pictures of when she was pregnant though.

I can't really feel anything left in her, though I am not completely sure what to feel for. there are no hard spots or anything moving, so she must be done.

There are new blood spots on Adagio's sheet. Miscarriage?

Not necessarily - cat will spot a day or two after giving birth. If its only a few spots don't worry - if its more then she needs to see a vet to be sure she doesn't have another kitten inside.

Awww, cutie!

And just another reassurance that spotting is normal after labor. Smudge spotted for a few days after she gave birth to her 6 babies.

Oh so cute. I love the blue ones.
I guess you are keeping Leo since you named him.
Leo has Mama all to himself.

Well, my sister's friend told me that if Daggi had a boy, that she would take him and name him Leo, but she has now told me that since there is only one, I can keep him if I want to.

I still haven't decided that, but if I do keep him, I'd name him something else to go along with the musical theme.

the name Leo is way too normal for me

Aww, what a cute little baby. His mommy is lovely too - and what a lucky boy to get all his mother's attention to himself! I'm so glad the birth went smoothly. Keep us updated!

My Meeko only had one and she felt very hard on the side so she went to the Vet teh next day and it was constipation. I kept her only kitten and he was a huge kitten. Maybe she only had one. Shadow the mom of my Meeko and Sasha was huge with Ash and he was her only kitten. Sometimes they fool the vet. I would watch her.

Oh you should keep little Staccato. Just throwing a new name out for size.

I think it would be lovely if Adagio got to be with her baby boy for life. They would get along and you would get to have 2 lovables.

Just a thought.

If I get to keep him *fingers crossed* I would try to name him Staccato to go along wthe musical theme, but my mom probably wouldn't like it. I think she'd go for something like Coda though, so that would be ok.

I really really hope I get to keep him. I hope he stays on his best best behavior so my mommy falls in love with him like I have!

I like Allegro for the name, then you can have Adagio and Allegro, those names sound good together!! IMO that is.

He is adorable!!

oh brother...

I am having problems determining the sex of this kitten. I was 83% sure that baby was a male, but now, I am really not so sure.

I might take some pictures of baby's backside later and post them on here.
