Riley and Xander!

After a long long car trip yesterday Xander is finally here with me and Riley, thanks to Eileen for sending him to me!

Here are a few pictures of their catnip session this morning! They are still unsure about eachother, but there is no aggression, the mostly ignore eachother with an occasional pounce!

Seeing new pics of Xander reminds me of why so many of us fell hopelessly in love with him.

Those pics are adorable.

Xander must be starting to feel at home to out in the open and playing. He spent the first day here hiding and it was several days before he was relaxed enough to play.

It's so great to finally see him and Riley together. Xander was never able to get that close to any of mine without them hissing and/or running away.

Well, the only playing he did was rolling around with the catnip toys but he hasn't really been hiding. Just pacing like he can't sit down and relax!

Obviously he knows he safe there - just has a lot of nervous energy to work off after yesterday's trip!

Those two guys look like they are doing rather well with each other, given that they've really only "known" each other for a few hours!

And two extraordinarily handsome fellas, too!

It sounds like Xander has the same temperament. So Riley doesn't have to be lonely.
