Well! I'm up for the night!

The police just buzzed me asking me to let them into the building.

This is the 3rd time in the last couple of months that they've done that.

Why they pick my apartment is beyond me. I am on the 7th floor and face the back of the building, so even if I have lights on, they aren't visible from the front of the building.

I don't like opening the door to just anyone, so I put on my robe, and walked to the elevators to look out the front window and saw a cruiser car, so I came back and opened the door for them.

I wonder which apartment they've come to see.

Oh scary! That'd worry me... Hope everything is ok...

I wonder why they pick you, too! That is really weird... On the tenant list, are you like, number 1 or something? Let's hope that changes soon!

No. But I'm one of the few that has their name listed on the directory. Most of the apartments just say "rented" now.

But I can't see them having tried all of the apartments below me and that I was the only one that answered the phone! So maybe my name being in the directory is a factor.

Actually they have a system over here, first they ring the door of the people who thy are trying to get to, if they cant they will start from the top of the list, Considering you are on the 7th floor you should be on the top of the buzzer list downstairs. they work from top to bottom for some reason :S

I learnt this in my whole of three day job selling contracts.
