I haven't been around in like, a year. But I'm back
For now, anyway.

Still got my two bubs, Snowball and Poppet. Snowball is as fat as ever and loving life, she's a sweet darling but we think she's getting a bit stiff and grumpy in her old age (could it be the beginnings of arthritis? She's 10) 'cos she keeps moaning when you ask her to move off a bed or seat.

Poppet - Well, what can we say about ditzy Poppet? Unfortunatly if any of you remember she dropped a lot of weight and after a check up at the vets they told us she had a heart murmur, at the minute it's just a Grade 3 (which the Vet said was ok, but not fantastic) so nothing is being done apart from giving her extra food to get her weight up. They said if it went up to a Grade 4 or 5 then they'd probably have to start medication or get a scan. Which is a bum. But heck, as my mum says, when we took them as kittens we gave them a home for life no matter what so no worries there. Just don't want her to be suffering
She's still pretty active and loves her extra food so it doesn't seem to be affecting her much.

And me - Well, got my A level results (English exams needed for university) on Thursday and I got into my first choice university
which is something I never really thought would happen. It does mean though that in 5 weeks I'll be leaving my kitties with my parents and moving out of the house

Haha, niether! Definatly not clever enough for Oxbridge, lol. It's the Uni of Kent, which is situated right on the top of a hill in Canterbury looking down on the town centre and the Cathedral. The view is stunning.
Thanks

Oh, definitely post pics! I've always wanted to go to Canterbury (english major...go figure)

And, actually I do remember you! Not many people here have "horse" in their names so I make mental notes. Good to see you back!

Glad to hear your kitties are doing good and many Poppet will stay healthy. If the vet isn't worried, you shouldn't be. I know it's going to be hard leaving your babies behind when you go to school, but they will be fine.

Enjoy your time at home, and catch us up on what's been going on with you.
