It hurts soooooooooo bad right now

We decided to tear out the old lineolium in the bathroom this afternoon and I hurt my back

It didn't hurt until about an hour after we were done taking out the old stuff and when it did, boy was I in pain!!!!!!

Brandon had to just about carry me into the bedroom too.

Everyone is being so helpful!
Justice is cooking dinner and Brandon is finishing the floor by himself right now..

It was in a car accident years ago and hurt it fairly bad. They wanted to do surgery but seeing I didn't have medical insurance I didn't go through with it.

Can I have some "Get better" vibes?

I just want to curl up in a ball.... if I could

My back hasn't felt so great today either. I work at a hotel and making all those beds is a killer. Usually I get a bit of help, but today it was all me and am I ever feeling it now!

Sending lots of happy back vibes your way.
I hope that you feel better very soon!

Make sure you sleep with a pillow under your knees to take some pressure off your back.
And some anti-inflammatory meds too!

Over the river and through the woods...
Oh hon, I'm sorry! Back pain is the worst! You said you were in a car accident and had a back injury. Did you hurt your spine then or just strained your back? If you think it is a spine injury I would go to the ER.

I twisted my back about 2 months ago carrying laundry and tripped over Gizmo. I used a heating pad and had DH put muscle rub on it and when it wasn't any better I went to the clinic the next day. He could actually feel the knot in my back. I told him I was using a heating pad and he said that was bad. If the muscle is already inflammed, heat isn't helping it. For inflammed muscles you need something cold to get the inflammation down. I would think cold would make a knot worse, but it actually did help me.

I hope you feel better soon! Many back coming your way!

In the car accident I cracked 4 vertabrea in my back and they're slowly deteriorating

I don't have the money or insurance to have the surgery. I should have back then but I also had a 4 month old to take care of on my own and it would have been impossible to do.

Actually, for acute injuries, ice packs are best. They help to decrease the inflammation.

I hope your back feels better soon.

I'm currently going to a chiropractor for an exacerbation of my back, neck and shoulder issues. All originally injured in a car accident back in the late 1980's. It gets better for awhile and then I do something and it gets reinjured again. Sucks!

Anyway, try ice packs. You'll get better relief than you will with heat, because at this point of the injury heat will only add to the inflammation.
