Well, I posted here a few weeks ago about 3 kittens I had rescued at birth because their mother refused to care for them. They are now a little over four weeks old, and doing GREAT! Also(how's this for a coincidence?) about two weeks ago I was taking a walk and heard a kitten crying in the woods. It had been raining, and I was heading home, but I stopped to investigate and found a poor little sopping manx kitten who was about four weeks old. Seeing no mother in site I took her home and found that she was infested with fly eggs(fly strike) I cut off all her fur and removed the eggs, and thankfully it was in time to prevent maggots from hatching. Two weeks later she is still good and growing! They are all getting to the nuisance stage
Which I of course love
I still can't find my camera cord, but here is one photo from a friends camera I borrowed. The pale orange and white is the male Jackel, the longhaired dilute calico at the front of the picture is Genet, the calico with more white that is looking straight at the camera is Cheetah, and the red mackeral tabby at the very back of the picture is the kitten I found, Lioness, who is now almost 6 weeks old.

I knew this when I first got them though, so I have already secured each of them with good loving homes with people I contact weekly. When Cheetah, Genet, and Lioness turn 8 weeks old they go to their new homes. So I have two weeks left with Lioness and 3 with the two girls. I know I'll cry when I give them up, I'm already sniffling just thinking about it. The hardest part about raising kittens is when you give them up isn't it? Still, I will comfort myself knowing I made a good enough "meowmy" to get them out in the world. I know I'm making the right descision keeping Jackel though. When he was about a week and a half old he got really sick, very nearly died...he was sick for about two weeks to, then suddenly, abruptly got better. Still, being sick that young has put him behind in development, and I want him to grow up with me so I can insure that he has the proper nutrition, health care, etc that he'll need.
