Hello!
My cat Charmin came in from outside on Monday with scabs all over the cheeks of his face. They were black looking and I first thought they were ticks, but he is on frontline every month. When I got a better look it turns out they weren't ticks but scabs that were dried blood. The scabs are only on his face, no where else. The first day or two when he got them they didn't seem to bother him, but now they seam to itch and he scratches them open. I'm wondering if it's poison ivy because we have it in the yard and I'm not sure what else it could be. Does anyone know about cat reactions to poison ivy or have any suggestions on what else it could be? thanks for your help!
