Lilly is the first cat I got from the shelter she is a year old. The shelter told me she was hand feed for a couple weeks because she was dropped off to young to be seperated from her mother. She is TINY compared to other cats and weighs about 2 lbs maybe 3. However, she has this weird habbit of licking your fingers. I was wondering if she's just got a weird behavoir or if its because she was hand fed? She will do it anytime she can get to your fingers, its quite annoying but we never punish her for it. It just results in us having dry hands from washing them so much. Lilly and Mommy!

Yes thats right. She has actually recently gained weight as well since we have gotten her home from the shelter. She is VERY small for her age in both weight and size.

It's a good thing you're not preventing her licking, much less punishing her. The fact is, many cats show affection to each other and to humans , by licking. So, it's the last thing you'll want to rebuff. You can do a little Googling of your own - there's lots out there on cat behaviours...here's one.
