He Let Me Clip His Claws!!!

A few days ago, Larry was being especially mellow, and he was lolling around on the couch next to me. I kept touching his paws, and pressing them, so his claws appeared.

"Hmmm...", I thought. If he's this relaxed, I wonder if he'd let me clip his claws?

So I got the nail clipper, sat down next to him again, he was purring and very relaxed, and I just clipped away, talking to him soothingly as I did it.

I got all of his front claws!!! It was like he never even noticed!!! This is a cat who was feral, on the streets of Brooklyn, not even 12 months ago!

Nancy, any feral cat eats what it can. Any person who takes in a feral probably smell a lot better to the cat than the homeless who share their space. I am not being judgmental, and I hope we can have a solution for the homeless soon. I feel for the homeless and the ferals.

Think about this. You took that cat our of having to scrounge for food, you talk to him so he is purring, and you are giving him a peticure for free. What New Yorker in his right mind would object?
