Do any of you make your own fresh face masks? If so- share your recipe!!!
I normally buy the Lush Bio Fresh masks if i'm out near the Lush store because they always seem to work wonders on my skin. (http://usa.lush.com/cgi-bin/lushdb/F...facemasks.html)
Since i didn't get a chance to go pick one up today, i decided to attempt to make my own. My homemade ones never turn out quite as good as theirs do, but i figured it was worth a shot. Here's what i put into mine:
Lettice
Blueberries
1 Banana
Crushed Almond
Rolled Oats
Milk (i'm out of yogurt, so i used milk instead.)
Honey
1 Egg
Lemon Juice
It's interesting so far i've had it on my face for a few minutes now and will rinse it off in a little.
Definitely not as yummy smelling as some of the other masks i've used before- but i'm going for results, not scent. Over all it seems to be a pretty good mask so far! It's a little bit runny though- i should have only put a tiny tiny pinch of milk in there instead of as much as i used. Next time i'll use less liquid so it goes on smoother!
Anyone else have a fresh fask mask recipe to share?
