Hello, all!
I have a quick question. Can cats eat peanut butter? I havent' given Maddox any, but I have heard of cats eating peanut butter. I would like to "spice" up Maddox's diet with some occasional treats, but he isn't too crazy about any of the snacks that I have bought him. He just plays with them. I has periods where he acts like he gets tired of his food, so I switch up different flavors throughout the day, and he will eat! He won't eat the same thing twice in a row anymore!!! He's so picky? So, I would like to treat him with something tasty, yet not harmful. Any ideas?

I don't see why he couldn't eat peanut butter....but for a cat, there's nothing nutrional in it for him. It would just be empty calories. Peanut butter is a protein, but not an animal protein..which is what they like. There could be sugar in the pb as well....not nutrional for cats.

Maybe others have experience with their cats eating it. Mine have never 'asked' for it....
...I eat it regularily and they don't coming running when I open the jar.

I think tomorrow when I get back home, I will let him lick some off of my finger. Maybe I can "trick" him into sitting in my lap for a while. He's very affectionate, but not a lap cat. I'll work my magic! Muahahahaha!!!!!

I have always given it to my dog as a treat. When we got Marley he would meow when Baron got it, so I let him lick some off my finger and he loves it!! He goes crazy when he sees me pull out the jar
