hi,im shelagh , i got the kittens on friday ( i think it was) the owners had decided they didnt want to keep them as they wernt getting on with the other cat, they have never had much human contact as the original owner just installed a cat flap and let the mum get on with it, kittens were born and the guy was outat work all day,
anyway they arrived and i almost regretted taking them straight away (sorry kittys) they ran off hissed whenever they saw us, scratched,bit,-but being the stubborn one that i am, i wasnt going to give up, so i have spent hours and hours talking them round, sitting on the floor in the kitchen and getting up at silly o`clock to do it all again,
what i now have are 2 beautiful kittens (both black-1m1f) who will come over for a cuddle and even let me pick them up for a few seconds at a time,they have allowed me to put collars on them, they nicked my ice cream off the counter,and my toast off my plate!! but i am so pleased that all the hard work paid off, last night i was reading up on ferals and seriously considering putting ember in a crate etc as she would not come out, but she must have known what was on my mind as this morning after biting me 3 times she let me stroke her, then there was no stopping her, she` s beautiful and so is baby, he came out of his shell much faster than ember and is really into everything lol, i keep tropical fish too, 10 tanks infact, they think its christmas!! tho they cant get into any of the tanks they have some fun trying
