The Exorcist. I watched it when I was 5 and haven't seen it sense. I am sure now that I am older I could watch it and laugh, but I refuse to watch it. I even refused to watch it when a high school girlfriend rented it and watched it.

The Exorcist. Will never watch that again. Same with Exorcism of Emily Rose, I only watched a few minutes of it, and that was enough.

The Ring. *shudders* I get chills just thinking of that creepy pasty girl crawling out of the tv!

The first Halloween movie, when they show you that Michael Meyers wasn't dead!! Still scares the crap out of me. If I know the bad guy is dead, they don't scare me, I know it's silly.

That was a long night!!

I was also really scared by that movie. For weeks after that I had to sleep with the light on, and I started having night time panic attacks. I am NOT watching that movie again!

None do. I used to love being scared by horror movies but they don't even make me jump anymore. I still absolutely love horror movies though and see as many a possible. I love the gory ones like Rob Zombie's films and older ones like Dario Argento's The Church is GREAT. Texas Chainsaw Massacre is great. I love blood and guts and anything based on real serial killers and true crime as I have a fascination with serial killers lol.

Over the river and through the woods...
I saw the Exorcist when I was around 10. It was the edited version for TV but it still scared me so much I slept with a bible under my pillow for 2 weeks! To this day, I haven't seen the entire thing. There was another movie I saw when I was younger...I think it was called "This House Possessed"? All I really remember was the house didn't want the new owners living there, and one of them went swimming in the indoor pool and the house turned the thermostat up and boiled the person. I still can't get into an indoor swimming pool and you can forget a hot tub!

Anything that deals with possession can scare the daylights out of me.

I really don't like horror movies. They make me all nervous and anxious and i usually stay that way for a considerably long time after the movie ends.

Leprochan gave me nightmares for months (my older sister made me watch it with her when i was little
) / I also hated "Hide & Seek" and "Texas Chainsaw Massacare" I'm sure there are more i'm forgetting too.

The only movies that didn't scare me were Silence of the Lambs, the Ring, and the I Know what you did last summer movies. Other than that, most scarry films just make me really uneasy. I avoid them most of the time if at all possible.

When I was a kid, Poltergeist really creeped me out. Then when I saw The Exorcism of Emily Rose, I was nervous about walking around the house at night, even with the lights on, for several weeks. I don't even really scare easily; I guess it's just something about the idea of demons.

Horror movies don't bother me. I love a good horror flick. The only thing that bothers me is all that blood & gore - especially in the Saw movies!
I still get creeped out from the third Saw movie where all those dead pigs were dumped on that guy..

The Ring was creepy, but I don't have a problem watching it. The only two movies I can think of that gave me the heebie-jeebies are The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and The Blair Witch Project.

But I haven't seen a movie yet that gives me nightmares, or keeps me awake at night..
