Are you a member to any other pet boards?

What I mean is do you visit any other animal message boards on the net?? I have a couple others I go to also, but I had found those before I found this cat site...There is one I go to called Pet Talk, and another one called Faboulous Felines and Fidos....
I do go to alot of parenting boards though so I know some of you don't go to those since alot of you don't have kids..meaning human kids..lol..anyway, if you do go to others, which ones do you go to??

Nope, this is the only one I go to. I didn't even know they HAD places like this til I found this site, LOL. Boy, can I be out of it at times . . .

I go to two others, but they're both German-language ones. One I really like, but there are often too many people on at once (there are several thousand members). There's a bit too much mobbing on the other, so I visit infrequently. I've seen people attacked because they feed their cats food from the supermarket, let them go outside, get their cats inoculations, etc., etc.. It's unbelievable. Things can get a bit heated here when discussing politics (IMO is great!), but mainly you can get good advice and exchange experiences and views with some terrific people here.

I go to a ferret board sometimes, other then that, no real designated animal boards anymore. I used to go to Acme as well for any of you that knew that place.

I do got another board that has a pet forum...actually I mod the pet forum but this is the only one i go to that is all pets

This is the only place that I go. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I just found this place by accident. I'd never seen a forum before, so this is the only one. I love it here, so I've never really tried anywhere else.

i am also a member of thedeafcatsclub (yahoo.) It is not in forum form like this.

As my Venus is deaf, i decided to be a member there. It is a site for deaf kitty owners to encourage and admonish one another, and to exchange ideas and tips.

i really like the founded, Rachelle. i think she is from Canada. Very neat lady. i can even feel her kindness across the miles!

Tigger, this is a very small group, so, i am not sure whether it is the same group you were referring to?

It seems like Rachelle is always replying to everybody. So, maybe i just THOUGHT she was the founder. Hehe.. feel free to correct me. In any case, Rachelle is my favorite person over there. :

Yep, Cailin & Wakko2 are the founders -- Chris is their deaf cat. We both have bengals & they have another board, which I am a co-moderator of that one.

I occasionally go to a board called dogproblems.com, which is misleading, because it deals with all aspects of dog ownership, not just the problems! But I must admit that the dog board doesn't seem quite as friendly as this site. Much more formal.

And how many problems can we get from a dog with this face?!?

I found this place when there were maybe 100 or 200 members. I tried one other board for a bit, but there was no moderation on a daily basis, and the trolls pounded them pretty severely. They were shut down, due to the disgusting content being posted. TCS is just my home. What else can I say?

A troll is somebody who joins a site without any intention of being a contributing member. His/her only objective is to post pictures, etc. for shock value and to create havoc. The one site I thought about joining had a huge number of people who posted pictures that were so disgusting that my retinas are still charred from looking at them. Thank goodness we have had VERY few instances of that kind of junk here.

I had been a member of the Compuserve Cats Forum for over a year, and I still visit there at least once a week, but mostly to check up on what's going on with the other members. I get my information and interaction from TCS now, it is a much more active and user-friendly board.
