I am making scalloped potato cassarole. It is scalloped potatos layer with cooked farmers sausage, onions, and carrots. all baked in a cheese sauce. DH's favorite. I am also going to make a salad.

Probably going to stuff an avocado with salmon salad and serve it on a bed of lightly dressed greens, with some cherry tomatoes from the garden, and probably some crusty bread.

yuck I've neve really liked creamed corn. I don't know what I am having but I am really really hungary. Maybe my mom have some extra dinner when I go to pick up the Baby. I hope so. Other wise I kinda want spagettii but don't want to go to the store to get the stuff for it.

The in-laws made brats last night. I wasn't too fond of the one I ate ... I think it was one of the "oh I got those awhile ago" ones

I think I want to make penne alfredo tonight, but we'll see what DH wants - that's usually what I'll end up making because it's fine with me

Quick Soft Pretzels

Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time: 0:10
Categories :

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
10 oz refrigerated pizza dough
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbs water
2 Tbs coarse salt
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place pizza dough on lightly floured wax paper and
roll into a 16x10 inch rectangle. Cut dough lengthwise into 10 1 inch wide
strips. Shape each strip into a circle, overlapping about 4 inches from each
end and leaving ends free. Taking one end of the dough in each hand, twist
at the point where the dough overlaps. Lift each end across to the edge of
the circle opposite it. Tuck ends under to seal. Place pretzels 1 inch apart
on an ungreased baking sheet. Beat egg and water in a bowl. Brush pretzels
with egg mixture and sprinkle with salt. Bake 15-17 minutes, or until
golden. Serve warm.

Comments: This recipe serves 6 people. Due to the nature of this recipe, it adjusts the number of servings in multiples of 6 only.

I worked 11.5 hours today, and totally did not feel like cooking when I got home
Especially on the limited amount of sleep we got last night. I got a calzone and he got General Tso's for dinner.
