What do i do

my kitten is at the stage where he like to chew cords how do i stop this

he was born in may

chewing cords is a VERY dangerous habit for kittens and can cause electrocution and death...smearing the cords with something bad tasting MAY help but it is not foolproof if the cat decides to ignore the repellent (which contrary to popular belief, they often do)....kitten proofing the house is the best option (leaving the cat in a room where no cords are plugged into an outlet) and if you catch it chewing a cord reprimand it gently and let it know that its not appropriate to chew wires/cords...and if you see him bypass a cord without chewing it make sure to praise him so that he will know that hes doing a good job by not chewing it..good luck!

and give him something thats appropriate for him to chew on! rawhide may be a good choice
