OX crossed to the bridge earlier this evening.
I had been posting about him a bit in the health forum. Tumor in ear, weight and hair loss in the past 3 months. He has been a garage kittty-which he did like since spring from the scratching his year and blood drop splatter.

Anyhow my parents are visiting and we went out to dinner and Neil was driving in garage and OX attempted to go outside while we were driving in and he hit him as he didn't see him. This is not by any means the only time OX has done this-many days when coming home from work I had to stop and make sure he wasn't trying to exit while I was driving in. Many times.
This time he wasn't so lucky. Neil stopped the car and dad and I looked under and we didn't see him so he drove in and dad saw him laying under the truck with a severely injured hind end-bleeding alot. So Neil and i had him put to sleep. He was so frail the injuries to severe.

OX lived about 19 years 5 months so he did have a good long life, his really declined this spring so RIP and join your buddies Sheba, Sierra and Tommie at the RB.

Poor Ox. You all must be very upset about the way it happened too.

RIP Ox.

Thanks everyone!!

I do need to make a correction as he was hit wheb driving in the garage-he was not run over as I mentioned before. I was so shook up when this happended I wasn't thinking straight.

Yesterday we gave the garage a good cleaning from all the old blood and diarrhea spots and sprayed for flies.
Its just so weird not to see him in the garage. He loved the garage and resided there from late spring to fall. I keep a back service door open when I'm home so he could go in and out as he pleased -basically to the patio to sun and nibble on grass.

I think back that I had him for almost 40% of my life-wow. When one has anything in your life that long-its an adjustment. Neil buried him by Sierra and Tommie-its a bit soon for me to go to that spot yet but I have to so another animal doesn't dig him up. (gross I know)

Thanks again for your words of kindness.
