Announcement threads are displayed at the top of forum listing pages, above regular and sticky threads. Announcements are special messages posted by administrators or moderators. If you wish to discuss announcements, you will have to create a new thread in the forum.
There is also an support/announcement forum, accessible under general forums in the main forum listing page!
