My boyfriend and I rented two horror movies this weekend. “Shutter†I wont dwell on because it sucked huge. I was bored throughout the whole movie and my boyfriend and I spent most of it obnoxiously making fun of it. I donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t think I enjoyed a second of it.

Funny games (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0808279/) on the other hand… Wow! Its like the movie “the Strangers†if it was rated 14A and less “horror movie slasher type flickâ€. There was no gore, one scene with blood, but O…M….G was it ever scary! If you want a good thrill movie this is it. I was up all night checking the house for intruderâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s lol.

It starts off boring, where my boyfriend and I again were obnoxiously making fun of the movie, and then BAM it got totally awesome! Both of us were silent, intensely watching the movie.

There was one part (only lasted maybe 2 min) near the end that I think is the stupidest thing I have ever seen in a movie ever regarding a remote control, seriously stupidest thing ever. If anyone has seen it id like to know what you thought of that part.

Anyway, I know there are fellow horror movie lovers out there so thought I would recommend this really, really good flick. If you see it let me know what you think!

LOL. Damn… I didn’t even think to check if someone already saw it. Either way I loved it. I am a HUGE horror movie fan and I know there are others. Knowing there is such a small audience for such films I am assuming if your not a horror movie fan you wont like this movie. It’s the same way with all horror movies. You can pretty much predict of all horror films if you’re not a fan of horror your not going to like it.

I wanted to suggest this to the horror movie fans (if you liked saw, hostel, dawn of the dead, cloverfield, etc) . If you like horror flicks then this is for you! Creeeepppppyyyyyy.

Thanks for letting me know about Funny Games. I've never even heard of it, and I think I may put it at the top of my que so I can have it for vacation next week. I'm always looking for movies to scare me.

I think I'll still watch Shutter. I usually like movies people hate anyways.

I can't wait for The Strangers to come out on DVD. I figured it would've scared me too much in theaters, so I'm waiting till it comes out on DVD.

I have Shutter in my netflix queue.

Can you give a few details why it sucked? Was it the storyline? Badly acted? etc etc

thank you!

PS: I thought The Grudge was boring and not that well done in its storytelling. I didnt think it was 'terrible' but I wouldnt call it good. That is an example. I didnt mind it as a rental though, but still...

Funny Games was just gross.

I am a horror fan, but it takes a little more than a jump-out-and-scare-you- moster to get me going. I think the genera can be fresh and fun.

Honestly I canâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t really say why I hated “Shutter†after about the first half my boyfriend and I just sat there and made fun of it, I donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t think we were really listening. I think its because its been done over and over again. But then again all horror movies have done that and I still love them (Saw, Zombie movies, Home alone with the killer outside movies and they all still rock in my mind even though there all the same).

I think what it must have been was maybe the acting was too dramatic for an unbelievable movie. I always try and put myself into the movie to get scared but because I wasnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t interested I felt myself rolling my eyes every time something dramatic happened. Some of the parts that were supposed to be scary just werenâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t. Either they tried to hard, or it just wasnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t happening.

I would recommend seeing it though, thatâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s just my opinion (BTW if you like ghost movies Wind Chill is also good, not gory or slasherâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]ish, just creepy http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0486051/). I hear a lot of people liked it. Id like to hear others opinion.

I didnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t really find “Funny Games†gory. All (except one part) of the violence was done off screen so you saw nothing other then blood in the aftermath. I have a fear of being home alone so this movie just got to me. It does have slow parts like most horror flicks but I really enjoyed 80% of it.

Also, has anyone seen “The Dreamers (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0309987/) Weird movie. Excellent if your into some really weird independent film…. Risky film. The actor was in this film. He is really good.

WOW! Long post lol.
