Was the question asked my my Step-mom as she dove head first into a plate of dark chocolate cranberry cookies I made over the weekend.

She was shocked to discover that the cookies had come out of my kitchen. Because this recipe was so successful I thought I'd post it.

Thick and chewy chocolate chip cookies

Now I'll admit I made it slightly fancy with the dark chocolate and some dried cranberries, but if you follow it exactly; out comes a bakery style yummy cookie.

Nuh uh...might give me away!
Isn't that about one of the greatest compliments you can get?
I'll have to try that recipe some day, lol.

I made a Spongebob cake for my nephew's birthday in April and his brother looks at the cake and says, "Aunt Jade, did you make that or buy it?" He was shocked to learn I made it.

It's worth it. Trust me. You'll get the bakery look to your cookie and people won't be able to tell the difference.

Thanks for that I have bookmarked the page - not sure where I'd get cranberries around here, but I can certainly do a chocolate version which will go down well!
Now I just have to find my US measurement cups, they are around here somewhere!

Here's a handy dandy metric coversion chart just in case you can't find the cups.
