I'm worried about my 14 year old cat, Cyrus he only has 3 teeth, he doesn't really have any trouble eating(other then having to chew a little longer) but I want to make sure early, as my other cat has recently passed away.(RIP Baby 1995 June 7th - 2008 July 28th)

A little extra info I forgot to add in the original post,
he eats wet food 2 or 3 times a day, I'll try to get the brands
as I can't remember them off the top of my head at the
moment, we used to feed him 100% dry food, but after my
first cat died we stopped, so now we leave him a little dry
food and feed him wet food 3 times a day, and always make sure
he has fresh water, sorry the post is so long I just really want to make
sure he's alright.

Welcome to the forum!

You'll have to help me out a little...I'm not sure exactly what you're worried about.

Sorry my topic wasn't really clear, I'm just really worried about my cat Cyrus, he only has one fang and 2 or 3 of those smaller teeth, I'm not sure what to call them, do you think that could be a problem? I could try brushing his teeth if I need to, we're really close

Its not a problem.
My 16 year old Coco harly has any teeth and she still eats fine.
My brothers Cat had no teeth at age 11 and ate fine also.

mews2much is right on target. No need to worry about the numbers of remaining teeth -

Still, I would want to do what I could to maintain his oral health...so, I would certainly brush the remaining teeth.

There are some videos which may help explain how/why that's done...
here and here (numbers 9 & 10).

Thank you everyone
I looked at his mouth and he has his lower right fang and a couple of those front teeth, he also has 2 teeth on each side at the back of his mouth, I'll talk to my mom and we can start brushing his teeth.

Sean425-
As demonstrated in the Cornell video, you need to go really slowly...very gradually, get him used to things, one step at a time...it might even take a couple of weeks to get to the point where you can actually start cleaning.
