Good morning my dear friends…

Today I have the privilege to post here your daily question for the Lounge…
I want to mention that all questions here are just for the unique porpoise of fun and of course, to stay in touch with all members, and to know what do you think about it…
of course sometimes some questions are a kind of silly but funniest in the bottom!..
… so lets begin…

Wich one is the first book that had read when you was child & you remember the title as well ???
…..

For me was “LE PETIT PRINCEâ€â€¦.and was terrific!
…still having good memories about it!...

Where The Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak

I'd love to have a few pieces of art from the book for my walls some day.

There are several books that I remember

Dr Seuss's "Green Eggs & Ham", "The Cat in the Hat", and "Are you My Mother"

and also "Where the Wild Things Are" - I don't know the author (but apparently Arlyn does!)

The first book I read myself was Disney's "The Lady & The Tramp" when I was 3-4yrs old. I told my mom I was going to read it to her that night

The first one that I really remember reading was "A Dog Called Kitty" when I was in Kindergarten. But I know I started to read when I was 2 years old, so I know I read a lot of books before that one.

Most likely the Dick & Jane books. BUT I do remember going to the school library in 1st grade and trying to read one of the Barbar the Elephant books. I couldn't understand why I could not read it till in 2nd grade - because it was one of the rare books that was printed in CURSIVE/HANDWRITING and you didn't learn cursive till in 2nd grade. Once I learned how to do the cursive, the book was easy to read

Ah, reading! My childhood was great because I spent it all reading! I miss it, wish I could read now like I could then...

I started reading, according to my parents, when I was around two, so no way I can remember what those books were...

But I have SO many favorites!!
I know I read all the "read along" Rainbow Brites (only without the tape!), and a few other favorites were "Bobby Bear's Halloween", "The Two Greedy Bears" (two brother bears who fought constantly over who had "more", though I remember all the details of the book, I could be wrong on the title!), "Are you my mother?", and "The Giving Tree". Saddest book ever!!
The entire Narnia series, almost the entire Nancy Drew series, and the entire Little House on the Prairie series.

And those are just the books I know I read by 5 years old!

Ah, what great memories!! Very, very good question!!

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish by Dr Seuss

The first book I read myself was "Three Little Pigs" when I was 4 1/2. It was a library book that we had just checked out so my mom knew I was really reading the words and not just from memory.

My parents used to read to me a lot when I was a wee one. I'm not sure what the first book they read to me was, but Green Eggs and Ham sticks out in my mind because it was my dad's favorite and it became my favorite as well.
The first book I read for myself was Ramona Forever by Beverly Cleary. I was hooked on the Ramona books after that!
