I had Missy put to sleep yesterday. She developed an intestinal block which would have required surgery to correct and I just couldn't justify the $1000+ expense.

When I got her in December I was told she was 4 months old, which would make her right at 1 year old this month.

Poor dear Missy!

That is always such a hard decision to make, and she was so young, that is heart breaking! We had a similar situation with our Missy (dog), in fact. So my heart goes out to you and Missy. Such a sad situation, but you know you did what you had to do.

Have lots of fun at the bridge, little Missy!

oh you must be absolutely heartbroken. you may have only had her for a short time, but you gave her the most important thing you could - a little life full of love. she'll see you again when you're good & ready xxx

Condolences on your loss of Missy. She shares the death-date of my first quarter horse, Cowboy. He, too, died of an intestinal blockage; fortunately for Missy, you were able to give her the peaceful dignified passing that she so dearly deserved. Send your Meowmmy a shooting star tonight, Missy, and let her know that you're OK now - painfree and playing happily over RB with our other TCS Pets and Angels
