Do any of you use 1-800 Contacts?

Travis just used them for the first time and had no problems! I actually think you get a rebate with them to....I will have to check

Thanks Courtney! That's great to hear!! I placed my order before i went to run errands earlier and it should arrive here in a few days! I think they have to call and verify with my doctors office first before they ship....which got me thinking- i'm not sure my doctors office knows i changed my name after the wedding so they might not know who the contact place is asking for I better call tomorrow and let them have my new info!

Nikki, I had a bad experience with 1-800. I ordered my contacts, they charged me for them and I never got them. I called 1-800 up and they said that they never got my order. I pointed out that my credit card got charged. Nope, I had never ordered them. Got the charges taken care of, sent some very emails.

My optometrist matches the prices. I live 5 minutes from his office, so gas isn't in my equation.

That was just my experience and that was three years ago. Sounds like it is working for you and I hope it continues to do so.

Just wanted to update!

I am very happy with this company so far! My order arrived today- got my contacts and a contact case (it's a cute red one with google eyes ). Everything arrived safe and sound and in a timly fashion- so i'm very pleased!

I've used 1-800-contacts for over 5 years and I've never had a problem.
I'm glad it worked out for you too.

I use lens.com for my son's lenses. 1-800-contacts' prices are about 20% more for the same items (he has 1 reg, 1 w/astig.)

One more thing - when ordering from somewhere like this, do a google search like "lens.com coupon code" or "1-800-contacts discount". I do this for nearly all my online orders and more often than not, I can find a coupon code for at least free shipping, if nothing else.

Ohh thanks for that link!! I just checked it out and they are a lot cheaper on my O2 Optix than 1-800 Contacts is! I will definitely look into ordering from them the next time i need to order some more! Thanks for the coupon code hint too!
