TODAY IS AUGUST 2. Glad you found your way here, I cannot get the title line changed.

Another advancement in the KatKwery payoff. Whenever there is no points won in KatKwiz (very rare), the points go to KatKwery.

We had FOUR winners yesterday. I guess I lied to you when I told you the words were going to start getting harder. Laureen227 used the word want and Kluchetta used the word think. Weldrwomn used use and yam102284 used other. Not used was busy.

We are down to 60 more of these so every day becomes more important. Here we go for today:

Do you think I knew that nobody was going to get the right answer today? Do you think that is a rotten thing to do; coming up with a question you know nobody can answer? I think I know the answer, but had you ever heard of a parent forum before? And had you ever noticed the View Parent Forum before? Do you use the Forum Jump to move around the forums?

i saw that there were several people who got quite close to the right answer... so, no, i don't think you DEFINITELY knew no one would get it right. even a wild guess could've hit on the right answer, after all! i'd heard of parent forums before, because of yesterday's KatKwery - that was one of the Forum Tools. i've just never used it, & probably never will. i don't ever use the Forum Jump option, either...i rarely read all of the stuff i'm interested in, so usually don't have the time to visit each forum looking for things... sometimes i'll look @ Fur Pics when i have nothing else to do, or the Premier Lounge to make sure i haven't missed anything important there [it's much smaller & less busy than the General Forums, so quick to get thru].

I'm sure you figured someone might get it right. I thinks it great that you ask hard questions once in awhile. How else would we learn. I have never heard of a parent forum and I might have noticed the view parent forum selection before. I never use the forum jump option, don't know why. I just seems inconvient to me.

I thought I had it quite a few times but I was WAY off LOl. I don't think you knew no one could answer it, honestly.I have actually never heard of a Parent forum, as I call them sub-forums lol I for sure haven't seen the "View Parent Forum" before. I don't use the forum jump ever, I usually just hit back on my mouse to get the the main forum list, or click on TheCatSite.com Forums link up top, then go to the other forum I want

I actually thought someone would get the answer. I don't think it is rotten to come up with a question no one can answer. If you didn't, we never would have known about the Parent Forums. I, myself, had never even heard of the Parent Forums. I never noticed the View Parent forums before today and have never used Forum Jump to move around. I normally only go to the Cat Lounge, but I do go to other forums occasionally. If I want to go to a different forum, I just go to the main page of the forums and then to the forum I was to view.

After reading all the posts and replies to today's KatKwiz, I don't think you necessarily knew that noone would answer the question correctly. You even gave a bunch of hints trying to help everyone find the answer! But I can tell you intended for someone to really work hard to solve today's quiz.

I don't think it is "rotten" to try coming up with a tough quiz that seems noonce can solve. But I don't know if that's even possible. I mean, you have to be able to come up with the question based on things people can find around the cat site. So if you can find them, theoretically, someone else should be able to also, with enough perseverance!

I knew about parent forums, but I wasn't online enough today to even try to answer your question about them. In fact, I did notice the option to View Parent Forums under Forum Tools when I was looking at yesterday's KatKwiz and KatKwery. Every now and then I do click on the Forum Jump menu to get someplace, but not often.

In the past any katkwiz that has had anything to do with numbers has stumped us all pretty good! I actually read the katkwiz today and decided I would not even attempt to answer it, because anything with numbers on the katkwiz just makes me look stupid! I dont think its wrotten at all, it sure makes me want to play the katkwiz tomarrow for double the points though! I have heard of a parent forum before, on live journal (where dragonspam is, I mod there) If you reply to someone elses reply, you will see an option that says parent thread, it took me a while to understand what they were talking about at first but I have it down now! I have never ever seen the parent forum thing on here, I do use the forum jump often, probably continuously because I am always looking for information somewhere on here and that involes jumping around, if you're at the bottom of the page already it just saves time!

I don't know if you thought know one was going to get the right answer. You said you thought it was the hardest questions we've ever had on KatKwiz, so maybe you did? I don't think it was rotten at all. It's a way to teach all of us about parent forums. I had no clue what they were and tried looking for the answer but gave up after awhile. I had no idea what a parent forum even was and didn't know where to look for the answer. Even yesterday when I tried looking for the KatKwiz (or whenever it was) I didn't see the View Parent Forum button. I never use the Forum Jump to move around the forums. I click on the back button or open up a ton of new tabs to move around the forums. It's easier that way because all I have to do is open new windows and close them when I'm done.
