I noticed that snowwhite has alittle bit of red discharge now and then...I know with people you bleed after you give birth, but i wasn't sure it it worked the same for cats....

Also I noticed with one of the kittens there is alittle bit of the cord still attached....us that normal and will it just fall off? I haven't noticed on the other onces, but this one was showing it's belly.

As for the cords, mom usually chews most of it off, but then there's a little left and they fall off in time.
If she's still got a bloody discharge after a week, she should go to the vet. It's possible she could have retained a placenta, or have an undeveloped fetus inside still.

Mimi has blood discharge as well. There is only a tiny bit. This can last up to 10 days, so I would'nt worry!

I agree with Sandie, if there is blood after a week, please take Snow White to the vet for a check.

thanks guys, she just had the babies on tuesday and it eating like a little piggie! It's only a very very very tiny bit, this is actually the first i noticed it. I'm just a worry wart. I'm loving her more and more every day, it's going to be so hard to let her go back outside once we get her fixed, but i know that is where she is happy :-(
