I have 3 remaining kittens from the litter I was taking care of. A lady just came by to look at the 2 Siamese, and they both immediately crawled into her lap and purred away and she was instantly won over (who wouldn't be??).
She wrote me a check, and was about to get up so I could give her the paperwork, and Velvet, the last kitten, a gorgeous grey girl, had crawled into her purse, curled up, and looked up at the lady purring away!!!!
Not only that, but Velvet's eyes were they same gold as they lady's purse.
She wavered for a minute or so, patted Velvet who purred even harder and said "well, I guess I can handle an extra kitten".
So I gave her their food, let her borrow a carrier, and she took all 3 kittens on the spot!
The lady was absolutely lovely as well - she was great with the kittens, and I said no declawing was part of the contract and she said "oh of course not, that's cruel - I just replace the furniture if it gets too clawed".
I am absolutely over the moon, I'm so pleased they all went together. I'm just bummed that I had no camera on me to take a photo - it was so adorable!!!
