I'm new to this. My cat is very pregnant. I had an appointment to have her spayed a few months ago, then she disappeared. She came home 2 weeks ago, and i noticed she was pregnant. Now i have her inside my laundry room with several blankets. She's breathing very fast and just laying around, so i assume she's fixing to have them. How many kittens does the average cat have? She is VERY big.

My Snowshoe just had a litter of 4 kittens. This was her first pregnancy. The average litter size is 4 kittens. She is probably ready to give birth! Mimi was very vocal in her first stage. Mimi had a big belly to, her kittens are huge! Let us know how everthing goes!

Well, apparently my little Bailey had 10 kittens. That's what they told me at the Humane Society after I adopted her.

I keep telling her that those days are over, she can just eat, sleep and play for the rest of her life.
