I hope you've read the threads about finding a missing cat, such as putting food out on the porch, and a well-worn and sweaty T shirt under it to help him find the right place.

But it's mating time for the fall kitten rush, so he may be out trying to create more problems for more people!

It is officially a week now and still no Hatchet.

Yes.I have put food out, called for him, walked around the neighbourhood SEVERAL times, talked to neighbours, puts ads around and checked with the SPCA.Nobody has seen him.

And just to let you know...I feel horrible that he is not fixed and out there, probably creating more problems...no need to make me feel worse about it.He was spose to get neutered around the 1st.

Thank you.

I wish he was here...just about an hour ago,I seen a wild mouse in the house and I couldn't catch it.I always had a mouse problem (this is an old place) and after awhile of having Hatchet around...the mice seemed to vanish. Now it is a week since my cat has went missing and I see a mouse...*sigh*.

The people behind me - their cat has gone missing too...

I was so hoping for good news when I clicked on this thread. Renewed vibes for Hatchet's safe return, as well as the safe return of your neighbour's kitty. I really hope they are out there doing the naughty and will come back when they're satisfied...

Sorry, didn't mean to make you feel bad. The "more problems" was a joke. Obviously not a good one.

It worries me that another cat has gone missing.

I am so sorry about Hatchet. I came in the thread hoping he had come back.
It is concerning that both of the kitties are missing. Was theirs an indoor/outdoor?

Their cat was indoor/outdoor...I am not sure if she was spayed or not tho.I onlt know that she was/is a few months older then Hatchet. But they always let her out.

I am hoping our cats are together somewhere and will both return soon.

So turns out it was not Hatchet.

Just the other night I got another email from the shelter.Someone found another cat in my area that looked almost identical to Hatchet. They sent pictures, but unfortunatly it was not him. This cat was bigger, his face was abit different and his markings were not quite the same. But he was pretty close!

So still no Hatchet, but I am happy that this shelter is helping.I have always had issues with this particular shelter and don't like them, however at this point I cannot say anything bad about them since they are helping.
