Alright, you are probably sick of seeing my sunflowers. We harvested them last night and I got some pics. The tallest was 11ft 10in, the other one was 10.5ft. Both measurements included the rootball.

Had fun with this in the editor

Wow, awesome!! Love the special effect too! Out of the two packets of sunflowers I planted I've got one that is about three feet tall...sigh. I caught the neighbor weed eating over the property line a few days ago so now I know where those ones went..grr.

Very cool! There's a woman down the street from us who has some giant black-eyed Susans and huge sunflowers in her front yard -- but nothing over 8 feet. Amazing gardening, m'dear!

I went and measure my tallest. From the ground to the top of seedhead is 113" or 9.4 ft.
This is not the large headed variety though as I grow the multi-head ones for cutting.
I have probably a dozen more that are close to 9 ft tall.

Not bad!! What the diameter of the seedhead??

They both were 1ft across. I had hubby hang them in the garage to dry out.
