Well, I used to feed my kitten Orijen for like a month or so... and she developed loose stool. Recently, I got myself some Wellness Kitten formula and mixed it in with Orijen. Surprisingly, my cat is getting firmer stool now... All I can say is wow. The redness on her anal area went away so I'm really glad about that. I really wished I could keep feeding her Orijen because I love the ingredients, but I guess I'll stick with Wellness for now. Too bad they have some grain ( rice, ground barley, & ground rice ) in their formula though... Anyway, do you guys know what might be the cause? Is it because Orijen is ' too rich ' like some people say? Or is it just because of the fact that my cat isn't too accustomed with a no-grain diet?
By the way, I know that core is better than their other line, but the ingredients ( and protein level ) is similar to Orijen, so that's why I decided not to get it.
On an off topic note, does any of you guys feed nature's variety instinct kibble? if so, do you guys get the chicken / rabbit one? how is it? is it better than wellness kitten?
