We get the Keys to our House today and move tomorrow!!!

We are meeting our Real Estate Agent at 10 to get the Keys. We have Dish,Pg&e,handyman,carpet cleaner and Adt all coming between 12-5 today. This is our first House and there is so much to do.

Oh SO much to do! You will be so busy for a while. That's so exciting, congratulations!!

I know on our "key day", I was so anxious, I couldn't wait until the agent and I could meet, so I made him leave the key in a lock box at the house and took off early from work!

Just a word of warning about ADT- if you are transfering it from your old place, they can be a HUGE headache to work with. That's what I did. 8 months later we're still fighting!!

But, let's not think about that! You have your new HOME!! If you are comfortable doing so, I'd LOVE to see pictures when you get a chance!

Congrats! Purchasing a home has all kinds of emotions. Mostly good, but there are stresses involved too. Try selling a home and closing on a new in the same day. Your essentially homeless with all of your possessions in limbo until you close on the new one. Hoping there are no paperwork glitches to delay things! SHEEEWWWWW............

There were problms today. Dish came but we only had the black and white Tv
there. The Guy could not install the Dish so we will ahve no Tv until Tues. Adt is not going to use the alarm taht is there because it is no good. They will come on Friday. The Rugs were cleaned and look good. The Handyman is still there painting.

The Movers took must of the stuff but we still have stuff left behind. I had to take 4 of my cats ashes with me which made me sad. Stripe who was Pts from Crf at age 11 and she beet borderline breast Cancer at age 4. Lucy who died in teh truck on the way to Er. Stormy who I had to have Pts from Kidney Failure last Dec and Yoshi who I had to have Pts from Kidney Stones and Fip they think. I was dreading taking the ashes. We get our stove and microwave tomorrow. We also get the washer and dryer but no fridge yet. My Dads Couches he gave us did not in the bedroom door.
