The inappropriate urinating cat advised to post seperately with new questions for this so here I am

We got 2 cats 5 years ago when we were married and about a year into it Kami (a torti) started peeing inappropriately. I didnt get to the litter box fast enough to clean it and she jumped on the bed and peed on my husband. Ever since then she has been peeing on the bed, the couch, any clothing left on the floor.

When we moved into a house it got a ton better because she had more space and we only had an occasional issue with her acting up but we got a new kitten a few weeks ago and she is at it again. I think it will get better as time goes on after the kitten isnt such an annoying novelty for her but my husband is now at the point where he is saying we need to get rid of her. I commit completely to my animals no matter how crazy they get so Im really depressed about it all. Over the 5 years we have tried different litter, more litter boxes, kitty prozac (per vet) Feliway, aluminum foil, keeping her in the bathroom as a training period, bladder infection checks. Its purely behavioral with her and this is how she acts out. We are really broke right now but Im thinking Feliway might be needed again? Im not sure where to put it either because the house is very open and I dont think it would be very strong.

Sorry for the long post. I needed to vent but I also need advice!! I have to figure this all out otherwise my husband is going to tell me to give her away.

Kitty must be stressed by the new kitten

All I can think of is to separate the new kitten from her, perhaps put her in another room, then let Kami have the house to herself for a little while so she feels less threatened by the kitten, and so she can be the #1 cat for a while.

I'm sorry I can't be of more help, I really hope you can get this resolved so you won't have to give her away! That would be very sad.
Try and reassure your husband that the problem should resolve once she gets used to the kitten.
