I'm starting to get really nervous! I've been applying at a lot of places, but they all seem to have more than enough employees and don't have a position for me
I finally found a job that was looking for someone and it's almost exactly what I want to do! I would like to work with older people (seniors), but this job will still give me the experience I need! I will be taking disabled persons to appointments, helping with daily chores, shopping for everyday needs, etc. I'm so excited and I hope I get the job!!! It's even located in the town I live in! The other jobs I was applying for were 10 to 30 miles away!

I need those TCS vibes!!!

Wishing you the very best of luck!
I've been to soooo many job interviews over the course of the summer, so I know exactly what you're going through. That's really great that this is for a job that you really want to do. All the best and we're all hoping you get the job!

I'm hoping they do something with seniors, but so far it sounds like it's mostly with youngsters and maybe teens? I don't know for sure, I'll find out more soon!

OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH!!! I think I got the job!!!!! *screams*

I'm so happy! The job interview took 70 mins!!!! WOW! She asked why she should hire me and I said that I would be a great addition to her team because I'm outgoing and couldn't see myself not helping people....etc.

As I was walking out the door she said "I really do think you would make a great addition to our team."

EEEEEEEEE!!!!
I'm SOOOO excited!

I will be a community support person. She really wants me to be paired up with a 9 year old boy with a brain injury. He needs someone to hang out with him and give his dad some alone time. Sounds great!!!

Lots of thanks to everyone here!!!

Working with special needs children, I can't begin to tell you how important you are going to be to the families you help. They give so much to their children that they need a chance to recharge their batteries.

Congrats and good luck!

I'm so happy to help anyone out! I've never personally known someone who was able to take advantage of such a wonderful service. I know it's got to mean a lot to the families I will touch.

I just can't wait!

That's wonderful! I'm sure it'll feel so good to have a job where your work really makes a positive difference in the lives of other people. Congratulations!

Y'know, Linda (Natalie_ca) has been on the receiving end of similar services, and has a lot of stories to tell, both good and bad. You might find some valuable insight into your new position by talking with her.
