OK here are my questions... I am sick, so I am having a hard time thinking...

Have you ever been to California?

Where have you visited here?

What was your favorite vacation spot?

What do you do for a living?

If you could have your dream job, what would it be?

If you could design your own house, how would it be laid out?

Would you have a room designed specifically for kitties?

I will probably think of more when I wake up. I am going back to bed.

1. I've yet to visit Mexico, but I know where it is and have heard of both Mexico and Mexico City!
2. The hubby and I plan on taking a western caribbean cruise which stops in Mexico! So it'll be a vacation when we make it
3. I have heard of the Yucatán peninsula, but not Chichen Itza ... it is beautiful!
4. I can only speak a few words & phrases of Spanish. I should have taken that in school instead of French (because I learned less French than Spanish!
)
5. I do not have any spanish CDs, but I HAVE heard spanish music and did enjoy it
6. I've watched some on TV...with english subtitles so I knew what was being said!
7.Ooh I do like Meixcan food! I like to get the Chori-pollo dish at the local mexican restaurant, with an enchilada on the side. I'm also a burrito fan.
8. Tequila (Jose Cuervo, to be exact) and I have had some good times
I also used to drink Corona, but became partial to Bud Light.
9. I have slept in a hammock! I miss it.
10. I've seen the traditional clothes in books and on documentaries, but never in person
11. I've also heard of Cancun, but have never been there either! I'd watched plenty of MTV Spring Breaks in the past that took place theret though. It looks so gorgeous, I'd LOVE to go there!

1. I have not been to California, but DID want to move there for quite some time! My aunt owns 2 houses out there.

2. I've yet to visit, but when I do, it'll probably be to either Indian Wells or Newport Beach, depending on which house my aunt is staying at. And maybe San Pedro, where some of hubby's family lives.

3. Skaneateles, NY for sure. It was so gorgeous up there, and the lake was so nice. I wish I could afford to live there!!

4. I work as a laboratory technician in the mercury area at an environmental chemistry lab. I love it

5. Hmm, I'm actually not sure anymore! I love where I work now, so I haven't even thought of any other job since. It used to be working in a body shop/auto repair shop in California.

6. Well we are actually in the process of having a house built! So I can use that one! Its 1712 sq ft (wouldnt mind a larger house if I had unlimited $$ but 1700 is big for 2 people and some kitties!), 3 bd/2 bth (master bedroom on opposite side of the house!) with an open floorplan. The kitchen, dining room, and great room are all open to one another. Sliding doors from the dining room to the deck, hot tub out there too. Shaded by palm trees in the front. One story ranch, brick veneer top to bottom with a saddle roof hanging over the 5x15 porch.

7. One of our bedrooms is going to be the "kitty room", just for them! (And the computer
) We are going to keep all of the kitty toys, litter boxes, etc in there. We spoil our babies - a room just for them in our house!

1. I've known my hubby since November 2004 online, and February 2005 in person.

2. We met on 3rdgen.org, a car forum for 1982-92 Camaros & Firebirds. He didn't even have a Camaro or Firebird
After chatting online for 3 months, he drove the 200 miles to come see me. Hit it off instantly and have been together ever since!

3. Our wedding was in Charleston, SC on the harbor. It was outside at White Point Gardens, and we exchanged vows in the gazebo there. Since the first time I went historic downtown to be a "tourist", I fell in love with the park and wanted our wedding to be there. (And Rob wanted it wherever I wanted it to keep wifey happy
). It was 80* in February on our wedding day!

4. I think I like shopping at Ross the most. Such great deals! Rob tells me to go there whenever I want since I can get $60 jeans for $15! I also tend to shop a lot on Half.com for books, and TheAnimalRescueSite.com for kitty related stuff.

SC is dripping with history. Are you a "historic places" fan? Such as touring old antebellum houses and things?

Have you ever been to "South of the Border"?

If you were going to take up an "extreme sport", what would it be?

1. I have not been to any of the antebellum houses or plantation houses yet, but I really would like to go! DH has lived here almost 20 years, so he's already been to all the "touristy" places, but I'm working on going to all the historic place. So yes, I AM a "historic places" fan

2. I have not been to "South of the Border". I've seen a lot of advertisements for it, especially when I moved to NC with my family in 2004. I'm not even sure what it is
(I was assuming a restaurant or tourist attraction or something)

3. An extreme sport I'd probably enjoy taking up would be bungee jumping. Even though I'm scared to even think about it, I like thrills like that
Storm chasing is listed as an extreme sport and sounds fun too

Congratulations!!

Ok, my odd ball questions!

1. Since your user name is Tara & Rob, does Rob use it also? If not, does he have his own sign on?

2. How many places have you lived in your entire life? Yes, moving from one house to another in the same city counts!

3. So, you're making a specific kitty room, any "kiddie rooms" in the future?

4. If money, job and such were no issue, what would be your ideal place to live?

5. What was your favorite childhood toy (or whatever)?

6. Since some one already asked what extreme sport you would take up, what is the most extreme thing you have ever done? Using your own defintion of "extreme thing"!

Enjoy the spotlight!

1. Rob doesn't surf TCS. When I registered, I was just looking for help on hyperthyroidism on our RB baby Tigger, so I just registered with both our names and figured we'd both use it for researching (and on a tropical fish forum, he registered with Rob & Tara, but he usually is the only one to post). Never knew I'd become so addicted to TCS
Occasionally he'll read a thread or two, but he hasn't posted.

2. I lived in 3 houses in Hopatcong, NJ, 1 house in Kannapolis, NC, and 1 house in Summerville, SC (so far). One more house to go! 5 so far, 6 when our house is finished.

3. No "kiddie" rooms. Neither of us want kids, our kitties complete our family as our "children". Our parents have "grandkitties" lol.

4. I'd love to either move to Skaneateles, NY, or St. Thomas, USVI. I actually looked at real estate in St. Thomas after our cruise
We figure Rob could get a good job building transmissions for all the taxis.

5. I loved playing with Hotwheels. I've got a massive collection of Hotwheels cars
I was tomboyish from the start I guess - because when I was 10, I started working on the real-sized cars!

6. Haven't really done all that much under the category of "extreme" in my life! So I guess I'll have to go with drag racing
I loved to race my Camaro when it was still in 1 piece, and I enjoy taking our Integra out, even though it's not really a "fast" car ... the rush is what makes it awesome.

…

Thank you my friend in advance for your nicely answers, I beg you love the music like I!...
1.- I like today's rock music, as well as classical rock.
2.- Hmm I think I have around 100 CDs or so now! Both mix CDs and original CDs.
3.- Since I'm from New Jersey, I'll have to go with Bon Jovi
And Billy Joel!
4.- I dont really have a favorite female singer, actually!
5.- Cant say I'd ever heard of that site until now!
I will have to check it out when I am not at work.
6.- I have all the CDs by Static X and System of a Down, and am working on getting all of the CDs by Bon Jovi & Billy Joel
7.- I've been to see Static X, as well as a few concerts with 5-6 different bands I like playing. I wanted to go see Bon Jovi with my mom, but it didn't happen!
8.- Never listened to that station before, although it sounds like the one I listen to at my grandma's house when I'm there
I like Q104.5 with the Bob & Tom show in the morning. They play classic rock on that station.
9.- I happen to like a bunch of different songs by different people on CDs the most. It gives me some variety and I know all the songs on the CD are ones I like!
10.- I played the clarinet for 4 years. I miss it
My mom sold it to my half-sister for my niece, but they never paid her, and we think my niece gave up trying to play. I'd love to have it back!

Thank you for the questions!
