Vacation Suggestions for my walking cats

Now that I have my 2 cats walking with their leashes, I would like suggestions of places to go on vacation with them.

I enjoy cape cod as they are quite liberal with pets.
They hate the beach but do it for me, they love the docks as it is up high looking down on the water, birds and fish.
My boy enjoys walking clearly defined trails, paths, walls, and fences.
On a trail he takes the lead and off we all go!!!
They love being up high looking down on things.
Plymouth, Mass was enjoyable as it had high walls to walk on.

Any good national or state parks in New England that people have been too?

I'm just amazing that you've got cats who like to actually walk (instead of slowly exploring a small area and rolling around in on the ground a lot) when on a leash! I hope someone else has advice, because I don't have any; all I've got is amazement!

I do like going to parks, and very many of the ones I like don't allow animals on leashes at all, so I have no ideas on that part of it, either. Good luck in finding cat-on-leash friendly places.

I'm going to try Arcadia National park and Bar Habor this weekend.

When Jake sees a path he takes the lead and I have to tell him to slow down.
After a couple of miles he starts panting and we can catch up to him.

We are going on our 2nd whale watch tour this labor day week, I hope.
The cape has been great for them and they draw crowds where ever they go.


I'm just looking for easy paths, trails, walls, or fences as they seem to really enjoy it.
They even let me know when it time to stop after a long car ride to walk in a rest area. So if you ever see somebody walking two little bengal cats, it's me!
