I had to take canned air to my keyboard to type this because Freddy has been lying on my computer again...
I'm Renn and I'm proudly owned by three cats at present: elder statesman Freddy, resident Queen B (whether -ee or -itch depends on the day!) Emily, and lovable but very inbred Michi. We live in a rural area, so unfortunately we get a lot of drop-off cats, but luckily we've been able to take in many of them. Actually, a lot of neighborhood cats frequent our house too, because we have a food dish outside! (Although whether or not it has food in it depends on how recently Michi was about...) I've taken in and socialized strays, bottle-fed three-week-old kittens, and gotten scratch scars from older cats who didn't really want to be rehomed, thanks all the same. We also have at present three dogs and two horses, although fortunately for Freddy's sanity, they do not live on the property.
Since I'm really the only cat person in a family which loves dogs, I look forward to being able to swop cat stories and advice with all of you!
