It's just way too cool!
I especilly love being able to take videos!
My s/o & I were thinking about getting a camcorder when finances are better, but now we won't have to. And we'll probably save a ton of money, b/c we won't have to buy disposable cameras anymore, nor pay for getting the pix developed.
I'm so grateful to my son for selling me his at a reasonable price!

Now I just gotta figure out how to use all the features!

That was a major thing for me, was not having to pay money for a bunch of crappy pictures that didn't turn out! And the movie mode is a neat thing to play with.
Have fun!

Digital Cameras are awesome! I remember my first digital was a Kodak 3.1 MP and I thought it was the bomb! It took pretty good snapshots and like you, I loved not having to keep every stinking picture! A couple of years ago I upgraded to a 7.1 MP that was between a point and shoot and a full blow SLR. That is an awesome camera! Actually I still have it and have been debating selling it. But a few months ago I bought a 10 MP digital SLR. It's just awesome! The pictures from it are amazing. The only thing I miss from my 7.1 is the ability to take video (as you mentioned). Anywho.... Congratulations on your new camera! Enjoy and take LOTS of pictures!

Yeah, I got a new one a while ago, and I still feel that way! Good luck figuring it out!!

Glad you are loving it! I like mine, too. They are so much fun, aren't they?
I love being able to take hundreds of pictures, you know one of them will be great!!

But, you know, now that you have a new digital camera, we need to see lots more pics, right??

I had every intention of posting lots of pix, b/c I've certainly been taking plenty of them!
But I'm having problems uploading them for some reason.
They take forever to load!

It's a work in progress, I reckon..

Isn't there an iPhoto or photos section on your Mac somewhere? Is it a newer one? There are probably alot of Mac people here that could help..

I ahve a problem though. I do not see where to save them on my Mac.
I'm certainly no expert when it comes to computers & the like, but there should be a cord that you can attach to your computer from the camera.
Or you may have to buy it separately: I don't recall if whether or not my son said he had to buy it separately, or if it came with the camera. I do remember that he had to purchase the camera case separately (which is ridiculous, IMO
). Anyway, mine has a cord that you hook up from the camera to the computer, which uploads the pix & videos..
And it is a Sony Cyber-Shot BTW - I checked.

It should ask you what it is you want to do when you plug the camera into the computer..
