Randy Pausch, whose speech, Achieving Your Childhood Dreams from Carnegie Mellon's last lecture series became a sensation across the internet, has died of pancreatic cancer.

If you haven't watched his speech, do yourself a favor and do so. It's over an hour long, so if you do watch it, make sure to give yourself time.

Rest in peace Randy

His obit was in the WSJ today written by the co-author of his book. I've heard of his book and the impact his lecture made.

That was an excellent lecture
What an inspirational guy. I love at the end what he did for his wife and that last "head fake" will be remembered always. I am sure he will be missed by so very many.

Rest In Peace Randy
