"Last Lecture" speaker Randy Pausch dies

Randy Pausch, whose speech, Achieving Your Childhood Dreams from Carnegie Mellon's last lecture series became a sensation across the internet, has died of pancreatic cancer.

his book sells like crazy it's so sad that he passed away may he RIP

I've never heard of him, but my thoughts are with his family and friends.

His obit was in the WSJ today written by the co-author of his book. I've heard of his book and the impact his lecture made.

Thank you for sharing this -- I'll set aside some time and watch that soon.

I saw an edited version of one of his last speeches a few months ago, and he was amazing! I heard he died last night. The world lost a truely great person. He really put things into perspective.

That was an excellent lecture What an inspirational guy. I love at the end what he did for his wife and that last "head fake" will be remembered always. I am sure he will be missed by so very many.
