I've done that with my own furbies.
A good snuggling session works miracles. It's better than a Xanaxx any ole day!

I do the dishes, clean the bathroom ect.

We hardly argue, but after posting on enzolayas thread i snapped at him because he went "omg europe ruined you, you never got to draw weeners ect on a persons face while drunk?' I snapped and said YEAH IM DIFFERENT AND I DONT FIND IT FUNNY! WHY DONT YOU TALK ABOUT IT TO THAT GIRL OVER THERE!! stomped off to bed, 15 mins later he comes in, was asking me some stuff about Frankfurt how they are changing the cars system in the city, I snapped i said I DONT KNOW! he then told me i was full of sheet, i came back on here calmed down and went to bed, i knew he was still awake.
Was still angry this morning, the kitchen was spotless!

We only have stupid little arguements though

I like to get things off my chest, too, but ONLY if it doesnt turn into an argument. I cannot handle arguing, not that it doesnt happen, but I usually walk away and close myself in a room until it can be discussed without arguing.

I will exercise, clean, love on the kitties until it passes.

I'm shocked at how many of you clean when you're angry. If I get you mad will you come to my house and clean?

My DH and I get along really well and don't argue very often. The last time we did was about 2 1/2 weeks ago though. I slammed down my fist (the side, not the knuckles). It bruised and swelled up and now I have a bump that hurts. I guess I shouldn't do that.

When I get mad, there is a lot of private cursing that goes on. I don't like it when people know I'm mad, so I go in a room somewhere alone and curse the
out of people

I'm single so I very very rarely get mad

I something does tick me off I have to tell someone and then I'm all better

If I get furious, I cry, and it's not upset tears, it's emotional overflow

That's not something worth arguing about, or worth getting a migraine.
Both of you should make lists on what you think needs to be fixed - prioritize it from top to bottom, the stuff on top being what you think is most important. On a separate column, write down cost or what you think the costs will be for each repair. Switch lists so you can see each other's perspective. Obviously, anything that could potentially kill you or make you very sick would go on the top of the list as for what needs repairing - electrical, plumbing, doors or windows that don't lock correctly, etc.
Save cosmetic stuff for last. And make sure he knows you don't expect him to do it all now, for some reason guys get touchy about that and always assume you mean now and start seeing everything in $$$ signs.

As for what I do when I get mad... listening to death metal is a surprisingly effective way to relax me.

I cry a lot. If it stays with me for a while and I just can't shake it I'll hop on the ellptical for a while. Exercising releases those endorphins and it does the trick every time.

I try to think it out and make sure that I am actually angry for a valid reason. If the person asks me if I'm mad, I usually say I would rather talk about it later when I can get my head clear. Then I talk it out as rationally as possible without bringing any other issues into it unless they also apply to the situation.

Sometimes before I get to that point, I slam something or say something nasty, and I always regret it and feel even worse, so I try not to let that happen.

My ex-boyfriend taught me what happens when you let anger control you, and I have the scars to prove it. I really hate anything violent, even loud yelling.

Yup! If I can go to the gym while I'm angry, it really does help.

Me too, we are really good at communicating so if he is being a bum, I am honest with him..and him with me
Its not a fun conversation, but it always turns out better than us stewing about it.
