questions about trapping

I need to trap a stay female cat. She is a little tame, but not well enough to get into a pet carrier. There are a few other strays around, but this one needs to go first. I'm hoping to get her to the vet and have her spayed. How do I go about trapping the right one, or do I just keep trapping until I get her. Also, I can't find anyone with a humane trap. Where can I find a cheap one that will work....know of any sites. Thanks.

Once a cat goes into a trap and it is tripped it is usually very hard to ever get that cat (or any cat who happens to witness it for that matter) to ever go back in. So there are a few tricks. Here is the one I like the best...

Call around to shelters and rescue groups - they usually have traps you can borrow or rent.
