She's purring!

I heard Chloe purr for the first time this morning


She escorted me to the bathroom this morning and insisted on climbing into my lap to play with the toilet paper
and she started purring


She's only 6 weeks old and her brother Blaze has yet to purr so this is a big thing for me

How adoreable
. Sport was between 5 and 6 weeks when he first purred. At first I wasn't sure what he was doing, because he was so small you could hardly hear it...it was more like you could only feel it. It was like he was sitting on a vibrating bed.

Awww, that's great to hear. There's no music in the world as wonderful as the sound of a cat purring.

. BTW, I love the name Chloe
. It was on the top of the girls names list, if we got a girl kitten.

I bet it's like baby's first smile, isn't it?

I haven't raised a kitten since I was eight years old with my first cat.

Isnt it awsome? I never knew until here recently how comforting a purr was. I am hooked on a purr for life now!

Awwwww..... that's so sweet! I didn't notice when my kittens started purring, partly because I didn't spent a good one month with them, missed out on the most important phase of growing up
