Maisie could really use some TCS magic right now.

She was taken ill this afternoon and the vet thinks it may be poisoning ( I can`t think of anything she would have got into in her room ) or a problem with her heart. When she listened she said it sounded like there was fluid there but she was too poorly to have an x-ray.

So she stayed there a few hours while they gave her meds and sheis a bit better and home for the night. We have to go back in the morning as the meds will have worn off and they will be able to tell if it`s poisoning or her heart if she`s better or not.

Right now she is hiding in her favourite hidey-hole so I`m going to go in and sit with her ( Much to Kittys disgust ).

Please say a little prayer for her I would hate for something to happen tonight.

Thanks guys
She is still just sat in the corner. She came out once to where I put her food and I offered her a little but she didn`t want it and went back in the corner They said to keep her really quiet so I don`t want to keep pestering her.

Luckily my boss said he will take us in if she gets ill in the night.

Ok, I`m going back to her. I`ll probably take the laptop in later but I`ll have to unplug it all first.

Well, she came out of the corner and has been laying on me all evening She even put her paw on top of my hand She is still very subdued and doesn`t want to eat but at least she`s not hiding.

I was just looking up the meds she had and 2 of them were treatments for heart failure as well as the usual antibiotic and anti-inflammatory, so I`m dreading them wearing of. I`m going to try and stay awake with her.

Hope the vet can give me a better idea of what`s going on tomorrow

Oh gosh... I hope Maisie is doing better by now and that its just a minor problem. Lots of get-well-soon for her!

Thank you all so much

Well, it`s 5:30am here and I slept in her room last night ( Not that I got much sleep! ). She stayed on the bed all night and every time I moved she wanted cuddles So that`s good

She does seem a bit perkier today and she has eaten a little

So, back to the vets at 9. I don`t know if they will do the x-ray and bloods then. It would be good to know what`s going on but I don`t want to put her at risk.
